Kite buggying - boarding: Black rock sands Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Force 2 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Bright and sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
I intended to go kitesurfing this weekend but the forecast did not look
promising. I heard reports though that there had been some kitesurfing
action on Saturday in North wales and that the forecast was good for
sunday. I went up saturday night to stay with friends and joined a good
party so was very hung over sunday morning.
We drove to Blackrock sands where it was very slightly cross off and very
flat.
There was not enough wind to get on the water so we spent the afternoon,
mountainboarding with kites and sailing a land surfer which was a first for
me. I really enjoyed it, getting the sensation of planing and gybing.
All in all a good day out even if I did not get on the water, got sun burnt
as well.
